It is hard for someone who has not experienced this type of situation to really understand what effect it will have on someone. In addition, everyone tends to react a bit differently. this sounds like an interesting exploration of one woman’s journey.

You’re absolutely right, “librarypat.” Although this is an exploration of one woman’s journey, I do address the fact that nobody really knows how they’d react under particular circumstances until they’re there. We are wired differently. It is my hope that the book sheds certain awareness and inspires a deep introspection on events that, perhaps, might not take place in our own backyards, but do, nevertheless, take place in the world.
